About psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is for people who need and want change in their lives but do not feel able to do this alone. It is for those who are curious about themselves, who perhaps recognise patterns in their behaviour which could be influenced by past experiences and want help beyond the support of family and friends.

I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment to explore impacts of past relationships and traumatic experiences. This gives us an opportunity to face and gradually understand emotional difficulties within the context of a reliable therapeutic relationship which can lead to increased self awareness and a platform for potential change.

Couple therapy offers support to both and an opportunity to understand yourself and your partner. With a clearer sense of why things may have unravelled in your relationship both will have the chance to rebuild and reconnect. It can also help to clarify where each of you are at present and help you think how best to move forward.
